The journal is published in issues every year and is in publication since 2006.

No Article processing charges (APCs)/No Publication fees
There are no publication or article processing charges. The journal is free to read, submit and publish.
Publication Policy
Manuscripts submitted for publication in the Journal of Bamboo and Rattan should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. All
manuscripts of research articles, review papers and short communications will be subject to peer review. Manuscripts found unsuitable in terms of the
requirements of the journal will not be processed further. Illustrations and other materials, reproduced from other publications, must be properly credited for.
Authors have to agree to permit publication of accepted papers under a user license equivalent to the CC-BY 4.0 license by Creative Commons.
Publication in the form of an abstract, thesis, or preprint is not considered a prior publication. Authors are encouraged to share their submitted versions
(preprints), accepted versions (post-prints), and/or published versions (publisher versions) freely under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.
Blind Review Process All of a journal’s content is subjected to blind peer-review from experts in the relevant fields. Upon ascertaining the suitability of the submitted manuscript as per the scope and subject matter of the journal by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Associate Editors/Editorial Board, the articles are sent to two or three expert reviewers. The decision of acceptance or rejection of the manuscript is taken after taking into account the reviewer's comments and the editorial board consultation. Reviewers are asked to provide a statement of no conflict of interest. Reviewers should be pointing out relevant published work which is not yet cited.
Publication ethics
The submissions are checked for plagiarism with the plagiarism detection software (Orkund). The publishers and editors should be willing to publish
corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed.
User rights
All articles published open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute. Permitted reuse is defined
by your choice of one of the following user licenses equivalent to the Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial ShareAlike 4.0 International License
(CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
Copyright
Authors retain copyright. Articles published are made available as open access articles, distributed under the terms of the (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), which permits
unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited.
