An Additional note on Morphology and Stem Anatomy of Calamus meghalayensis Henderson

A taxonomic study carried out in Assam and recorded additional features in Calamus meghalayensis that included the length of the stem, nature of leaf, inflorescence branching order and the first report on extended bracts of inflorescence rachis. In stem anatomy, few metaxylem were observed with more than one vessels, and also found filled with tylose-like structure.
